Personal History
My name is Chance White and I am 9 years old. I enjoying riding every chance I get. I have been to four national races. The first one was in Ponca City, Ok, Branson,MO, SPring Classic at Mill Creek in Pelham, AL and in 2011 attended Ponca again. I will be trying for Loretta's this year and also going to attend Mini O's. I have been riding since I was 4 but racing competively since I was 6. I started out on a ttr 50 in arena cross, gradually I have moved from there to a Honda 50 and a King Cobra 50 and now race a Kawi 85 and also a KTM 65. When I am not racing on the weekends or practicing in my back yard I like to play video games and hang out with my brother who also races.
Riding Goals
My goals for the upcoming year are to be sponsored some day and to make it to a big show. I will be trying for Loretta this year and will be going to Mini O's. I will be working on my turns and coming out of the gate better. It seem that when I have a lot of kids on the gate with me I get a lil nervous. To fix that I will be training harder and using every show I go to, to learn a little more about how to be aggressive and to work on what I need to do to be on top.
Competitive Highlights
When I started out riding it was a slow progress. My first year on the outdoor series I come out with a third place in the 50cc entry and a third place in the 50cc 4-6. This year I have gained one position in the trophy spot. I should have a second place in the 50cc 7-8 and I am working on atleast a fourth on my 65cc 7-9 class. When I went to Ponca it was a scary time. It was the first time I was on a gate of about 30 riders. My trip to Branson was a lil better, I ended up making it to the runoff on Sunday. Again other gate full of 50 riders. I ended up 24 out of about 30 riders in the stock class and 25 out of about 30 riders in the mod class. Its a learning experience.
2011-2012 In the summer of 2011 I attended the Ponca City Nationals and did better for the second time around. In the outdoor Alabama Series I came out with a 2nd on my 50 and 1st place on my 65. This was one of the first years I raced my 65 to place in a category. I am in the running to place in a good postion in the ArenaCross Tour for the 2012 season. I am currently in 4th on my 65 and 3rd on my 85.
