Personal History

Hi, my name is Chad Popchoke. I was born and raised in Waxahachie Texas, where I later move to Alaska due to my dad being in the military when I lived in Alaska my dad did a lot of racing and watched a lot of professional, motocross and Supercross while we’re down there, which inspired me to start racing myself because of playing and watching videos of people like James Stewart and Chad Reed I first started racing on a Yamaha PW 50 which I later sold when I move down to Elpaso Texas, where I live now when I moved to el Paso. I stopped racing and started doing other sports, such as soccer and basketball, which I stopped to do competitive baseball, which I was do because of good grades in school and being naturally good at the sport for the last 10 years, but I decided to stop because I had a really big passion for motocross that I had since I was young and I was tired of playing motocross game and I want to actually race  so I decided to talk to my parents and convince to stop playing baseball and ask them to buy me my first race bike  which was a Ktm 85 so  I started racing and practicing  at my local track Tulie MX desert peaks Mx and mority Mx.

Riding Goals

My riding  goals for this year, and next year are to progress take more  seconds off of my lap times be more comfortable, jumping  and just getting to know my bike better also meeting new people to help me progress in motocross and also practice to start doing arena cross and just have a fun time and meet new people and new friends along the way of traveling to different races and events and hopefully making it to Loretta Lynn’s this year or next year.

Competitive Highlights

Some of my competitive highlights is that I went from not being able to shift or knowing what a shift is, and not being able to turn or jump anything, without being scared to being able to clear most, if not all of the jumps at the local tracks,I race and winning  back to back first places in the my races  in just a few months
