Personal History
I am in the Army, I work on Apache helicopters. I been in the Army for 7 years come July. I am originally from Missouri, but been stationed in Savannah, GA. I have done 2 Iraq deployments for a total of 27 months in Iraq. I am currently in Afghanistan, I been here since November 2009. We plan on being home by christmas of 2010. I first started riding dirtbikes in 2006, I got hooked and bought a new 2006 CRF 250X. After my 2nd deployment, I really didnt ride it that much, so I sold it. I then bought my bike that I have now. A 2008 CRF 250R, I started going to tracks and was hooked. I did my first race in Alma, GA. in January of 2009. I then raced in February, at the same track. I again got last place. It did not discourage me, I kept practicing, and practicing. I raced in August 2009 at Daisy, GA. That race we had 7 in the open beginner and I got 2nd place that race. I then went to Alma the next weekend it was the 2nd race of the series, between the two tracks. in a field of 10 riders, I got 5th overall. I ended up taking the lead for the series after the 2nd race. I did not get to finish the last two races of the series because of work related issues. We were getting ready to deploy at the time. But I am not a quitter, I learn as much as I can. When I come back to my room, I search the internet looking for anything that has to do with dirt bikes and motocross. I keep up with the supercross season, even though I sadly dont get to watch it here.
Riding Goals
My biggest goal is to race C class, by June of next year. I would like to be able to make a top 5 finish. My other goal is to get my 1 year daughter a bike and enjoy watching her learn to ride in a few years.
