Personal History
Please review my resume for sponsorship opportunities you have available. I am very interested in helping with the development of your current and future products along with providing valuable feedback of your products. My professionalism, work ethic, riding skills, industry involvement and knowledge are great assets to have on your support team.
Motocross has been a passion of mine from the first time I threw my leg over a motorcycle. I have competed in various race series and districts in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Michigan, Indiana and Illinois for six years before taking a hiatus from motocross racing to pursue a career. In the last two years of competition I was able to put together 41 top 5 overalls in 250 B and Sportsmen B. Since taking a break from racing I have never stopped riding motocross. I have been riding consistently to improve my riding and conditioning. I have invested a great amount of time this past year training and riding to make a comeback for the 2013 season. The 2013 season will be my return to the motocross racing scene with high goals and expectations. This year will be my first year of eligibility for competing in the 30+ Vet class in select District 23 (Minnesota), District 16 (Wisconsin) and Racer X Senior Championship races. The Super Series at Millville, MN along with Loretta Lynn’s will be my primary focus.
One major asset that accompanies my racing skills is my technical knowledge of the bike and its performance. As I had mentioned above that I had taken a break from racing to pursue a career. That career is also in the motorcycle industry. I am a graduate of Motorcycle Mechanics Institute Orlando, Florida and hold a position as a motorcycle test technician (V-twin motorcycle industry). Not only would you be getting exposure and recognition from me as a sponsored rider, you would also have a resource that you could use to help with the development of your products. I feel that this is a great opportunity for a company like yourself to get valuable technical input on the products that you sell. I’m an extremely detail oriented technician that logs data and checks tolerances of all parts that are installed on my race bike on a regular basis. This precision along with a great perception of the feel, look, and functions for all aspects of the motorcycle is a great combination to help with the quality assurance and development of your products.
Along with knowing and understanding the technical side of the products you sell, I also have a background in sales. Having a background as an outside sales account manager along with a retail store manager, you can be assured that your customers are getting a great representation of your products.
Being involved as a test technician and as a competitor in the motorcycle industry I have the tools and knowledge to help your company grow and succeed. With my experience in retail and sales I'm confident I will be able to bring a very professional, creative, and knowledgeable representation of your company to your customers. I look forward to being part of your support program for 2013 and I’m looking to build a great relationship for the many years to follow.
Thank you,
Chad Herman
