Personal History
Hi, my name is Chad Garris and I am 14 years old. I have been racing since 7 years old. I started on 4 wheelers and at 10 years old I switched to dirtbikes. There is nothing I love more than going to the races. The racing is the best part but I am also at home around the track with my friends, without them it would not be as much fun. I train as much as I can but we can not run every weekend due to my dad being a Fireman and only having the entire weekend off every third week so we make as many races as possible and have as much fun as we can when we go. My first few years on a dirtbike I felt like I was way behind. By the end of last year I feel like I was closing the gap and riding really good. I am looking forward to competing this year and hopefully I can continue to gain ground on the leaders and battle for wins this year.
Riding Goals
By the end of the 2013 season I felt like I was moving up on the leaders. I have worked hard and look forward to trying to battle for wins in the Schoolboy class this year.
Competitive Highlights
It doesn't seam like much but the kids that used to blow past me are now just in front of me and sometimes I can even race with them. When I see them get frustrated it makes me feel good and push harder.
