Personal History
My name is Chad and I am 30 years old. I am the youngest of 3 boys and we grew up in Mansfield, TX. I have always loved anything with a motor. When I was a kid I loved to take things apart and put them back together. I have always had a need for speed. When I was a kid I took a go kart motor and put it on a riding lawn mower. Growing up I always enjoyed riding dirt bikes. Unfortunately, we didn’t have much land so I was always the kid getting in trouble for riding my dirt bike on the street. Sports were not really my thing, my brothers and I spent our childhood racing anything with a motor. I met my wife when I was 14 on the school bus. We dated off and on throughout high school and eventually got married in 2014. I have 3 boys Preston 11, Carson 11, and Colston 4. I of course introduced dirt bikes to my boys as soon as they could sit up. Carson currently races a Kawasaki and Colston rides a Yamaha. My wife has a Kawasaki and has started riding the Pit Mom races. My dad and I are partners in a remodeling business which keeps us very busy.
Riding Goals
My goal is to win the Open Amateur Championship. I am currently in 1st place by 48 points. Once I win I plan to move to the next class and do the same. I strive to get better every race and eventually get to the Pro Class!
Competitive Highlights
I have done really well this season. I am currently in 1st place in the standings, leading by 48. My first time racing was last season. My family and I thought my son could play football and me race. Unfortunately, that was not the case. Last season I raced a few races but once football season started I had to put racing on hold. This season my son has started racing and he is hooked. We won’t be playing football this year so we both can race competitively.
