Personal History
My name is Cayden Flynn. I am 12 years old and I am passionate about dirt bikes and racing culture. I am from Ashburnham, Massachusetts. I raced P27 NY Offroad and J-Day Offroad in the 2022 season. I really enjoy the technical woods riding and extreme sections of these series, but I also like to get out on the moto track and open it up. 2021 season was my first season riding a dirtbike. I started off racing in the PeeWee Trail Rider division on a KLX 110 which was borrowed from a close friend. Midway through the season I moved up to the Mini C division on a 2017 KTM SX85. I was in the back of the pack struggling because I had only been riding a dirtbike for about 3 months but I never gave up and by the end of the season I was finishing mid-pack.
Riding Goals
My upcoming goals for myself are to move up to Mini B in the 2023 season and participate in more training programs. I am also very hopeful that this will help me get recognized as I improve my skills and performance.
Competitive Highlights
In the 2022 season I got 6th place in my first race out. Then I was injured the next race during a P27 NY offroad event, injuring my knee. I also got my first win at White Rock during a sprint enduro for Hans Neffs Future- Aces event. First race back I got 14th because I was being very cautious of my leg. Then I started getting my rhythm back. At J-Day Offroad, Crowhill GP-1, I won my second podium finishing 3rd overall. A loss in the family knocked me down in points so when I came back I was in 10th overall at P27. By the end of the year I finished 7th overall in points for P27.
