Mideast Round 11 

Great Race! Felt so good to have a decent race. Got a good holeshot and lead most the first lap until I fell into another creek. Manged to not get hurt this time though! Was about seven minutes behind when I got back on and came through finish 3:30 seconds behind 1st. Caught her four miles in and had a hard time getting around her. Finished the race with 1st and a ten minute lead! Super stoked! 

On a side note, I've been comparing my times with the guys in Open B I think I might be moving up to that class. Give those boys a run for their money.

GNCC Round 10 Gusher

Rain, rain, go away, come again another day! So much rain!! Finished with a 3rd because of my back. I was leading until the second lap when I had to stop for a few minutes to let my back relax because it was so tensed up I could not breath. Tough race, glad to have finished it, and happy with my 3rd.

Mideast, Harris Bridge Round 10

Terrible, terrible day. Started off good with a nice holeshot and the lead until the creek jump. I thought I was going around but took the wrong path. I fell into the dried up creek, six feet down, onto a concrete tube. The handle bars hit my upper back and the tire landed on my head. Got up and finished a lap through the pain, the whole time thinking it was just a bad bruise. I had not get realized how badly I had fallen. After the lap I couldn't make myself go any farther. I pulled off and the ems said I probably broke my scapula. Went to the doctor Monday and he said it might be fractured but he could never be sure. He did say I have pulled muscles on the left side of my back and neck, a muscle spasm on the right, and a whole lot of muscle damage. He strongly suggested that I stay out of all physical activity for the next few weeks. That won't be happening. Still going strong to the GNCC Gusher next week!

GNCC Round 9 Unadilla New Berlin, NY

Race did not go at all as I had hoped. Drove 13 hours up there to race with 750 riders on a 9 mile course. While leading my class about three miles in, I got hit and the bolt in the middle of my handle bars got threaded out. Therefore my handle bars were barely hanging on. I pushed though determined to make a lap. Came through the first lap in 3rd, surprisingly, but pulled off to see if there was anything we could do to fix it. After removing the stabilizer and messing with it I was able to do another lap and finished 11th. Hoping the Gusher will go better in my favor.

Little Brown Jug Enduro 2013

Awesome weekend racing the Brown Jug in Union, SC! Had a early row with a few friends. Was worried about getting lose (we had row 4) but it turned out great! I felt good through all 80 miles, well except those last four they forgot to tell us about. Came in 3rd behind Jessica Patterson (yes the WMX Champion) and my friend Kendall. Happy with the results and can't wait for next weekend!!
