Rider Updates

Oct 27 2015

Hello!! It's been awhile since I've logged in mxsponsor!! So much has changed! The kx250f I had blew up on me so I saved up and bought a 2014 yz250f! Got the suspension dialed in and had a solid summer of practice. Only got to do 2 races this year and got a 2nd and a 3rd place champion in the 2015 triplecross race event! Also, got some exciting news!! Aside from my motocross/Supercross in the summer, I'm getting into snocross this winter! I have a 2005 Arctic cat snopro 440! Not only will your sponsorship be advertised in the MX season, but also the SX season as well!! Protection is going to be key in continuing racing year round with only a few months off between seasons waiting for snow and waiting for it to melt. In addition, keep checking back to my profile for a link to my FB athlete page that is currently in the works!!

Happy Training/Racing!

2014 Race season went out with a huge bang!! My last race of the season was the double header Stadium Cross event at Gravity Park USA. Saturday night under the lights I took 2nd overall in the Womens division and the following morning I took 1st overall in the Womens division. Later to find out, I also took Overall Champion in the Womens division for the weekend. It was a perfect ending to the 2014 race season. I couldn't have asked for anything better. I'd like to give a HUGE shoutout to my awesome boyfriend/mechanic for keeping my bike up and running throughout the season, Shoutout to my my parents for supporting my decision to give racing a shot this year, and shoutout to my sponsors, Pit Posse Motorsports, MxMegastore.com, Matrix Concepts, Spy Optic, No Toil, and Oneal for the help throughout the season. Hope for everybody's support for the 2015 season. After winter passes, I will be back and faster than before xD

Ive been getting more races under my belt! I love racing!! So far I've walked away with 2 second places amd my overall points for the dirt grinder series put me in 4th place overall. Also, I am now 2 points away from being tied with 2 other racers for the overall 2nd and 3rd place rankings. I have 2 races left in the series and they are double headers! Saturday night Sept. 27th (also my birthday!) I have 2 motos and then Sunday Sept. 28 in the morning I have another 2 motos!! Hopefully I can walk away with at least 3rd overall and win some awesome awards at the End of the Year Banquet! I

Finally attempted my first race. It was very fun and exciting to say the least. Everything went well until my throttle got stuck in third gear approaching 2 doubles. Too soon I was launched up the first double and overshot it and came up short on the landing side on the second double and wiped out. Broke the brake lever, throttle tube, bent the bars, and pulled a ligament in my shoulder. Fortunately I was able to get back up and finish the last lap to complete my first moto. I wasn't able to race the second moto but stuck around to cheer on the others. Gravity Park USA is a great track with a bunch of friendly people. Definitely going back on September 27th (My birthday!!) for their big Triplecross race and hopefully one or two times before to get some practice in.

I have my bike all fixed up and ready to rock and roll this weekend practicing at a friend's private track or at Dyracuse Recreational Park to hit up the trails, sand track, and clay track

With extreme dissapointment, the race series WIMX (presented by RPA Offroad LLC)that I had planned on racing in this year is canceled due to poor turnout. Fortunately I will continue to ride at different tracks during open rides. Also, I found another series, Dirtgrinder, at Zero Gravity Park USA that I can compete in. I will look into it further. Meanwhile, I may try a harescramble in the WIXC series (presented by RPA Offroad LLC). Even though things arent going my way, I will NEVER stop riding! Braap On!

Apr 29 2014

The race on April 26 was canceled due to the unpredictable Wisconsin rainy weather. Fortunately it has been rescheduled to Sunday June 15th. SO AMPED to race my first race and it keeps getting canceled. I guess more practice time! Rain don't scare me! ;)

Another delay in getting the bike back together. Discovered in the forks that the 2 nuts inside on the rod weren't tight enough from the previous rebuild and they came loose and messed up the threading.. Been waiting over a week for the parts and nothing yet :( Luckily I still have some time. Wisconsin got over a foot of snow in the Northwoods and canceled my Rider's Clinic. Will take awhile to melt.

On the bright side, I got the top end, swing arm, clutch, and everything in between all back in 1 piece. Just waiting on those darn parts!!! DIRT FEVER IN FULL THROTTLE!!

Stay Stoked!!,

Finally after about a good month of completely disassembling my bike, replacing/greasing bearings, sending in the rear shock and forks, tearing apart the top end, and much more, everything is ready to go back together! Going to be up bright and early Saturday to take my 2 mechanics out for breakfast and then back to work. Should be nearly completed. Will post before and after pictures once she is all put back together...On another note, Riders Clinic in 3 weeks!
