Personal History
Carter is 5 years old and started riding his first dirt bike at 3 years old. Last year he started racing Crossroads cross country racing which is know rebranded to MSXC GP and is based out of Indiana. He started out on a pw50 and before he started racing we got him on a crf50 and he liked the 4 stroke way better. When he started racing he was on his crf50 and was very nervous but quickly fell in love with racing. He ran a beginner class all last year on his 4 stroke and the last race of the season he rode his KTM 50 mini. Carter was always a back of the pack rider just trying to learn and stay out of the way but he had his first race this year march 22 on his KTM 50 mini in row 2 in the 10” class and finished 3rd out of 10! Huge confidence booster for him and he now is ready to race the rest of the local series, IXCR, Extreme XC, and even a couple GNCC races. He would love some new sponsors and support!
Riding Goals
Carter loves to ride and compete against other kids his age. He has always wanted to run in a points class and get on podium and this year we signed him up for a row 2 10” 50cc class and he got 3rd and got on podium! He is determined now to get on podium at every race and he is determined to win at least one race this year but hopefully more! Another goal of his this year is to cover one whole wall in his bedroom with plaques and trophies.
Competitive Highlights
Carters very first race was very ugly and slow but he was determined to finish. He spent most of the race on the dirt and picking his bike up but he finished and got the attention of the race series owner for his determination to finish and he got awarded with the “never give up” trophy. Every race he got better and better and got his confidence up and began to run in the middle and front of the pack!
