Personal History
My name is Carter Price and I live in Point Pleasant, WV. I started racing because my older brother was racing and it looked really fun! I have a lot of fun cooking out at the track and riding my bike with friends. I didn't start racing until September of 2014 but now I race every chance I get. I am getting better each time I ride. I race a KTM 50sxs and a Honda CRF50. I'm a little more comfortable on the Honda right now because I can shift the gears. I really like riding in the mud. I was excited that we got a trailer to haul our bikes in this season and put in a checkered floor. I enjoy watching motocross and supercross on tv and playing MX vs ATV on the xbox. I'm trying to teach my little cousin, Jamey to ride so that our whole family can ride together.
When I'm not riding I enjoy riding my Trek Mountain Bike. I also wrestle and have won the state championship 4 times. I also workout and lift weights a couple times a week.
Riding Goals
I want to keep improving. My goal is to win the point series at our local track in the 50 Jr class. I would like to be able to jump the catapult by the end of next season. I try to improve my lap time every time a race at a track. Next year I want to place in the top 3 at the WV Indoor MX championships in my class.
Competitive Highlights
The first time I placed it was 4th and I was really happy because I had improved. This season I have placed first three times in the 50Jr at Mason MX and lead in the points.
