Personal History
Hello there! My name is Carly Armstrong VanAntwerp. I am 33 years young and I have been riding dirt bikes just shy of 5 years. I have done a few different races in the past through the OMRA and Mag7. This is my first year competing in a series for points. I am currently in 3rd place overall in Women's Amateur in the Oregon Motorcycle Racing Association (OMRA) series. When I am not racing, I love riding any kind of trails, whether it be fast paced or a little more "enduro" style. I excel in technical terrain albeit being a very short rider. Some of my favorite types of riding are single track and rocky/technical terrain that requires me to think quick on the bike. In the last year, I have also started riding Trials for the balance practice and to work on my clutch control. I have also recently found a love for riding the track. I own a 2022 Husqvarna TE150i, a 2022 Gasgas TXT 280 Racing, and a 2023 Gasgas EX250F.
Riding Goals
I would like to become a well-rounded rider. I hope that in doing a little bit of all types of riding, it will further my abilities on the bike. I also want to be an example to other women who have always wanted to join the dirt bike world.
