Personal History

Hi my name is Carlee Cornelison. I race for the national Grand Prix championship (NGPC). I have been riding quads my whole life until recently. I switch to dirtbike’s because I feel they are safer for me to ride and I’m in control. I live in California. I am 16 years old and I am a junior . I live in a small community in the mountains. I am in the women’s intermediate class, racing a KX250 F. I live at home with my mom dad and brother. I am currently attending cosmology school on top of being in high school.

Riding Goals

I have been riding my whole life. Racing has changed my life so much but in a Greatway. I ride more than what I used to because I’m practicing. Racing is a sport that is fun to me but it’s also very competitive. I found that everybody that I race with is very nice and supportive of each other. I want to expand my racing career by achieving my goals of moving up in a class or two. My family is right there by my side supporting me no matter what. Racing is my sport that I pay attention no matter what! Riding allows me to not be stressed, all I need to do is focus on the race and track. Now that I’ve been racing for over a year I honestly do not know what I’d do without it. I look foreword to every race even the tracks that aren’t my favorite.

Competitive Highlights

2019 race season was my first ever season racing dirt bikes. During 2019 I decided to race for points for National Grand Prix Series in the Women’s Novice class. During 2019 I received two second places, one fourth place and five first places. I ended up becoming the Women’s Novice National champion. I learned that all tracks are different and that’s good. The more difficult they are the more of the challenge I receive. I can not wait for the 2020 race season to start I will be in the Women’s intermediate class this coming up season
