Personal History
My name is Canyon Ashley, I live in Meridian, Idaho. I live with my mom and dad and my two sisters. I love snowmobiling, dirt biking, flying, and going to the lake. I have raced motocross since I was 5 years old. I started riding bikes at 3 years old. My Uncle and Aunt owns Carls cycle Sales in Boise, Idaho. My dad owns Ashley Heating and Air. The Ashley companies was started in 1910 by my great grandpa Arthur Ashley. I go to Kuna High School and am a member at Owhyee Motorcycle Club in Boise. I really enjoy going to the motocross track with my buddies. I have had many 1st place finishes in my riding career.
Riding Goals
My main riding goal for this year and the next is to be able to finish #1 overall in all the races I attend. Another goal would be to stay on 2 wheels and not get hurt so I can keep racing. I have had a lot better luck with my new bike. I moved up to a KTM 150sx. I previously rode a KTM 85sx. I am so much faster on this new bike than ever before. My sights are set high for this riding season and all the next that come.
Competitive Highlights
I have attended the Arenacross at the Ford Idaho Center placing 4th place. I have also been to Washougal 1 time and plan to attend every year from now on. I have had numerous battles with many fast kids finishing before them in most cases. I placed 1st place in a 2 person desert race in Boise. I race the Rocky Mountain Motocross Series which is a regional series. I previously had a 3rd place finish at on of the RMX Series race. I also compete in the Idaho State Series finishing 1st or 2nd depending on the class.
