Personal History
My name is Kayson, and I love riding pretty much all things. Dirt bikes, bicycles, skateboards, wakeboards, snowmobiles, pretty much anything that moves. I live in Florida with my mom and dad, and my little sister. We are from Reno, NV, and relocated out to the SouthEast with our 2 mini Aussies, Shasta and Azzy. I grew up with animals like goats, and chickens, barn cats, and last year we had a Bobcat lurking around our house. We spend our weekends outdoors mainly, camping, boating, hunting, sand dunes, and riding trails around where we live. I am in 5th grade and am a good student online at Accellus Academy. I currently have a 3.87 GPA! I like to swim and hope to learn how to surf this year! I started riding when I was 4 in the hills, and will start my third season racing this year in Florida. I trained at Orlando Mx and raced Gatorback for the Florida Winter AM Series 2025, and for the LLAQ in February. have played tackle and flag football many years, I loved being the wide receiver. I also play baseball and can hit pretty good, as well as played a couple years of basketball. I like spending time with my family and friends.
Riding Goals
I ride because I like the thrill of it mainly. It challenges me to constantly push my limits and continue to push myself towards my goals. I like the freedom of being on my bike and on the tracks, depending on myself to ride smart and hard. This year I will be joining the racing season in Florida. I got the opportunity to ride Okeechobee MX track over Winter break, and it was so cool. I currently ride a KTMsx 65 and will race that class this season. This year I really want to focus on my track times, smart racing, and breakout into the SouthEast racing circuit. I would like to continue to improve on my 65 and consider other classes to compete in and go against the best there is at Loretta Lynn. I would love to try out for Nitro Cirus one day.
Competitive Highlights
I had a great first season, moving up every race and getting faster and smarter in my ride startegies. I worked on my gate starts and hole shots. I also road Hangtown MX in a doubleheader. Riding a national track was such an accomplishment and I finished in 8th with over 50 riders. I wheelie all over the place and have been working on my step ups and lines. I learned how to ride with a clutch, and can't wait to race on that bike as well this year. My biggest accomplishment is I only ran in 9 races in the 2023 BBMX season, and finished in the top 10 for the series in both classes I was in, and finished the last race of the year for REP Racing in 2nd! I also got the opportunity to ride at Livestock Events Center under the lights for The Biggest Little GP Stadium GP, which I finished second in my class! I raced in Fernley, NV on my 65 last fall and finished top 5!
