Personal History

My name is Canaan and I live with my mom, dad, and younger brother Weston. I’m 7 years old and in second grade at Columbia City Elementary. I have been riding for fun for about 2 years but only started riding competitively this last spring. Motocross is a whole family sport. My grandpa raced when he was younger, so did my dad and now it’s my turn!

Riding Goals

I pointed out in the 50 first year class at TNMX and I’m now in the 50 beginner class. I’m doing really well with podium wins and I’m hoping to graduate to junior before spring. My near future goal is to get the high point award in my class at the Woodland winter track. But my biggest goal (and my dads) is to qualify for Loretta Lynn’s in Tennessee.

Competitive Highlights

The biggest highlight of my summer racing season was winning the high point award at TNMX. After that I won 2nd place in the 50cc open class at A Weekend In October event at Portland International Raceway, followed by a 1st place win in the 50cc beginner class at the Triple Crown series at Washougal.
