Personal History

Hi, my name is Camilo Mena I am 17 years old and I am from Quito, Ecuador.
I have raced nationals and regionals in my country in the Rookie category. This rookie category consists of new motocross racers and there is no bike limitations (not an specific cc). I was the only one racing with a 85cc, all the other riders had 250cc and 3 of them had 450cc; we raced a total of 24 riders. I started the first moto in a regular position, probably 14th and then started passing some until I reached the 10th position. When 2 laps where missing I was still in 10th and then in a rutted turn I felt down and went to the 17th position and ended the race. The second moto I had a good start probably 5th but then in the second lap I experienced some mechanical problems and had to abandon. In the total I ended 19. This was the first race I had and I was happy with the results because I entered the competition only 3 months after buying my 2005 Yamaha yz85. I selled that bike and in this month I am going to buy a 2009 Kawasaki kx250f or a 2008 Suzuki rmz250.
