Personal History
Hi, my name is Cameron St.Clair-Smith and I currently live in Cairo georgia. I am 18
years old. For the past 7 years motocross has been my life and school of course.
School comes first in my family which makes it hard sometimes, but it makes me
work harder and when the rewards come, it makes them that much more memorable,
in both motocross and school.
Over the last year I have been training in America at the prestigious Millsap’s
Training facility in Cairo, Georgia. It has been great and a valuable learning experience for
myself in both training and keeping up daily maintenance on my bikes.
As a result of this I earned a title in 250c mod and a 3rd in 450c stock all on a stock kx250f
at the recent Millcreek national in Pell city, Alabama. I was on track for 3 titles that week
as I won all of the opening motos but due to 2 flat tires and my knee
(racing with torn acl) I was unable to pull through in those classes.
2012 was a difficult year for me in terms of results as I have had a lot of bad luck
(Injuries and bike problems) but after I returned from being back in New Zealand
(December 2012) I have learnt a lot and have made large gains in both my fitness
and speed on the bike and have also learnt what it truly takes to become a professional
in the sport.
Riding Goals
My goals for 2013 are to continue to improve. For the next 4 months I will be recovering
From acl surgery, I am scheduled to begin riding again in august of this year so
My next big event will be the Mini Olympics in which my goals are to get top 5 In 250b
Stock, 250b mod and 450b stock.
