Rider Updates
Feb 21 2008
Hey, it's Cameron,
My racing program is going to be completely new for 2008. We took a
step back and looked at what I needed to finally reach my full
capabilities. What it came down to was the bike, and my own physical
condition.
As far as the bike, the KTM's I have been on for 4 years have been
very fast and very good to me, but the suspension was just holding me
back in the braking bumps of the rough outdoor circuits. Therefore, I
have switched to Kawasaki, and also to a 450. My new Kawasaki KX450F is
an amazing bike and I am very happy with the choice to make the switch,
which was encouraged by one of my main sponsors, Woodson Motorsports.
My suspension has gotten a revalve for my weight and abilities and is
nothing short of amazing. The bike also makes power exactly where I
like it to be in the powerband and corners unbelievably well.
And as for me? I'm now on a very strict diet, throwing out the
daily McDonald's runs and other junk food in my diet. I never used to
do much besides ride, but now I train daily and I feel much better. For
2008, I will be able to go 110% for a complete moto on any track and
still have more in me.
To say I have high expectations for 2008 would be an
understatement. I'm going to make my presence known even more than
ever, and I will be a completely different rider. Thanks so much to all
of my sponsors for their support. I'm going to make you all proud in
2008!!
