Personal History

Hi, I'm Cameron Snyder. I've raced motocross since I was four years old, and I have been around it my entire life. I have gone through the ranks all the way to the A class, and there is no reason why I can't make the step into the pro's with the proper backing. I'm just a normal kid that likes to have fun and goes to a public high school Monday through Friday, where I'm a junior on the honor roll. I train hard and ride hard with a style that has been called smooth but very agressive. I'll do most any jump, but I know that the races are won in corners and that's what I am always trying to improve on. For 2008 I have switched to the Kawasaki 450f after being on KTM's since my 85 days. My last bike was a KTM 250sx-f, which was a good bike but no matter how much we did to the suspension it just would not settle in the braking bumps. I'm a well liked and well spoken kid at the races that always tries to give the younger riders tips whenever they ask, because I still remember where I came from, when I was just that slow kid on the old KX60 wearing the old gear just out there for the love of the sport. My dad was never a crazy mini parent, and just always wanted me to have fun, which is probably why I'm just as passionate about this sport as I was when I started. That sums it up pretty well, and if you have any more questions I'd be more than happy to answer!

Riding Goals

Next season (2008)I will be competing in the 250A class on a Kawasaki 450f. I have not been on Kawasaki's for a long time and I am looking forward to having a good handling bike (with linkage!) again. I want to qualify for Loretta's in the 250 Pro Sport and four stroke classes.I'd also like to win the state title that I have barely missed for a few years now. Next winter I plan on doing a lot of the Toyota Arenacross series as well. 2008 will be a big year for me if I just keep training all winter and come out swinging.
