Personal History
I’m twenty years old born and raised in Swansea,MA. A small town where you everybody knows everybody. My dad got me into riding when i was seven years old on a 2002 XR 70, ever since then I’ve been hooked. After I got used to riding I went to a crf100 to learn to ride clutch. After only a year on that my dad got me a yz125 as my first big bike and that was my first race bike. After my first season of racing on the 125 I had to take a year off because my older sister was in the hospital. After battling a heart disease and needing a heart transplant my older sister ultimately ended up passing away, which was by far the hardest thing I had ever gone through. After going through that I realized life was to short to sit on the sidelines and decided I wanted to get back into racing so I bought a 2012 RMZ 250. After not riding for a couple years and still having my sister on my mind I didn’t have the best season at all, and to top it off half way through the race season my bike was stolen out of my shed. Ready to give up racing all together,I decided to give it one more season o see how it went. My dad came home with a 2015 YZ450, the bike I have now, and after riding it at a local track near my house I knew this was the bike for me. 2018 is my first race season on the new bike and it has been the best season I’ve had since I started racing.
Riding Goals
I only have one reason I ride and that reason is my sister. Every time I line up at the gates for a race I do it to make my sister proud because I know she can’t physically be there but I know spiritually she always will be.
My riding goals for this season is to finish out strong in points. I’m third in points for both my classes with only a few rounds left. For next year I wanna do even better I wanna win my first championship.
