Personal History
The winter is upon us and the weather outside is just frightful....Dad and I took a ride to Fulton New York last Friday to pick up my new Honda CRF 150R....What an awesome bike !! Rode it on Sunday ay Mototown USA here in Connecticut. Mototown USA is an indoor track near our house. We go up there quite a bit during the week. This allows me the opportunity to practice during the winter to keep skills sharp. The 4 stroke is much different than my KTM 85....LOTS OF POWER !! The competition better watch out next season !!
Riding Goals
2009 will be a transitional year for me into the world of 4 stroke racing. Although I will still be running alot 85 races on my KTM, I will mostly be competing in the Jr Mini Classes on the Honda 4 stroke. This should be the springboard I need to move up smoothly through rest of the 4 stroke classes when i'm older. My family and I will also be competing in other racing series throughout New England to better the exposure for my sponsors.
Competitive Highlights
I am still undecided about running the 85 classes for points next season. I currently have a 50cc Championship and a 65cc Championship. I would like to try to continue my championship streak on the 85, but the 4 strokes are taking over the sport and I want to grab my opportunity to train, practice and compete on mine as early a possible. This will get me the expierence neccessary to compete at the highest levels possible while I am still young. Hopefully by doing so, I may stand out to some of the manufacturers to help secure a "factory ride" someday ! Keep a close eye on Camden "smoke" Mund #660 in the years to come !!
