Personal History
Hi, my name is Calvin Wiltshire and I am a 11yr old boy who lives in the wonderful city of Cape Town, South Africa. Motocross and Offroad racing is my life and has been my passion since the age of 5. My trainer believes that I have a natural talent and I believe that with hard work I will become a top rider one day. My ultimate goal would be to compete overseas and ride with the best of the best. I am competing for the SA title in the SA National Junior Offroad championship and, this being my first year in this class, am currently laying second in the championship, 3 points behind the leader, after leading the whole year but crasing in my last race. We are a very close family and I have one brother - Kyle (I call his Dennis the Menace). My dad works offshore in Angola and my mom is the best MX mom a guy can ask for - my mechanic, coach and driver!!!
Riding Goals
I want 2011 to be my year of being the best. I would ultimately like to win the SA National title in the Junior Bikes catergory and in MX I would like to finish on the podium. On the Regional scene I am confident in finishing on the podium would definately like to win one or two rounds and prove to the other competitors that I am the dark horse to be reckoned with
