Personal History
Father of two children, ages 3 and 4, from southwest Florida. Grew up riding summers up in Washington state with my father from age 10-14, then got into basketball and pretty much stopped riding. Got the bike bug again and rip a 2024 crf450r. Also just picked up a Specialized rockhopper expert to ride around with the kids in local woods/parks.
Riding Goals
I ride because of the adrenaline rush and the peace of mind. It’s my way to shut off the rest of the noise and let the throttle rip. I also ride with my children to get them into the sport. It’s a great way to teach them about mechanics, fitness, focus, camaraderie, and more.
This year, I plan to get my daughter an e-bike to get good on before I transition her onto a little 50cc or something. I have been training MX and have been loving the combination of woods/MX. Keeps me versatile! I’d like to start racing more and get the kids into some MX riding in the next year or two.
Competitive Highlights
My accomplishments are finding the time to hit local MX tracks like Motobros punta gorda and 74MX, spinning as many laps as I can til I’m cooked. Father of two, full time job and business owner, it can be tough to find time to ride! We all know MX can get expensive, especially when you add two kids and my wife into the mix!
