Personal History
My name is Caleb Scheifele, and I'm a 18 year old high school student from Ohio. I didn't come from a motocross family, neither of my parents had ever been on or owned a dirt bike so I had to save up to buy my first dirt bike for myself almost 6 years ago. I taught myself how to ride and continued riding with friends better than me to improve myself. I never competed in motocross as I put more of my time into my soccer career, where I trained for the goalie position. All the training paid off as I was top 5 in the state of Ohio for saves in a season two seasons in a row during high school. I also have spent my time raising market animals though 4H for the local county fair.
Riding Goals
My riding goals for this year are to put in the hard work and train so that I can compete in my first competitive race, and enjoy all the hard work I have put in. The reason I ride is because it gives me something I can do to distract myself from what going on outside of the track. I can put my helmet on and block out the stresses of schoolwork, work, and day to day life. I love pushing myself to do better and better every time I do something and riding dirt bikes is the perfect thing to push and perfect my skills on. I know my riding isn't perfect but I improve every time I go out which is the biggest reason I ride.
