Personal History
My name is Caleb Jones I am 27 and I race with the number 13 and currently race two bikes. I have a 2016 YZ 250 and a 2018 CRF450. I am what most people would call a “weekend warrior” but a dedicated one. I usually only get to race 1-2 times a month throughout the summer months but I go to practice tracks every other Saturday of the year religiously. That is, when tracks are open. I’m normally one of the first riders there and the last one to leave on a ride day. Going to the track is a family hobby for my dad (57) and myself. I ride and he wrenches, but we are both always trying to better ourselves purely for the enjoyment of getting to go to the track and spend time together.
Riding Goals
I plan to practice as much as possible through the colder months of this winter to prepare myself to race more often at the bigger AMA sanction tracks that are ran by Victory Sports in my area. I want to be at a track every Saturday of the year, but with weather in the south that isn’t always possible. But I can sure try.
Competitive Highlights
I ride nearly every weekend and have competed at large AMA sanctioned tracks such as Muddy Creek, Fast Farms, 221Mx, Thunder valley, Catheys Creek, Lazy river and I-81 motor sports.
