Raced Flat Track at Albany Speedway on July 11th. Cale won both heats and mains in the 50cc Open and 65cc DTX classes. The best he's ever looked.

Raced the season opener at D and W Racing Rainer Cycle Bowl on Saturday, May 16th. Heat Races: 50cc Senior-1st place, 0-70cc Open-2 place and Mad Dog-2nd place. I made the A-Main in every class. Mains: 50cc-3rd place, 0-70cc Open-3rd place and Mad Dog-1st place. This is a clay flat track that the local guys seem to do really well at. This was our first time there this year and only our second time there ever. We learned a lot and had a lot of fun. We'll take what we learned and be back stronger next month. March 21st was the season finale and Championship Night at Salem Speedway in Salem, Oregon. I won my 50cc heat race with the 2nd place rider finishing 3/4 of a lap behind. I was leading the main when I tangled with a lapped rider and was pushed into the wall. I came to almost a complete stop and was left way behind. Worked my way back up and was just passing for 2nd place when I had trouble with more back markers and had to settle for 3rd place in the main. That was the bad. The good was I had already locked up the Season Championship by a long shot in the 50cc class.
A huge field of bikes with a mix of both kids and adults in the Pit Bike class. I managed 4th in the heat and 3rd in the main and finished just out of 1st in the season championship by a few points. Not bad considering we were unable to start 3 races in the Pit Bike Class this year.
As in the past several races I ran my Cobra CX50 in the 65 DTX class and finished 4th in both the heat and main.
It was such a great season. We had so much fun and learned a lot with a whole lot more to learn. Thanks so much to all my sponsors and supporters especially Answer Racing, Spy Optic, Wanker's Corner Saloon & Café and Ohger Performance!
There is a pretty big gap in races up here in Oregon and Washington so we will try to make a couple of races in NorCal. Lodi Cycle Bowl, Delbert's Memorial Raceway, Ukiah Speedway and Spokane, WA are all possibilities.

Cale was back on track at Salem Speedway this past Saturday, February 21st. It was a great night of racing for the Wanker's Corner Racing Team. Cale managed 1st place in the 50cc Heat & Main races, 2nd in the Pit Bike Heat & Main and 4th in the 65DTX Heat & 3rd in the 65DTX Main. He was extremely strong in all classes. Dominated the 50's, ran really well against much older competition in the Pit Bike Class and hung right in there against the 65's while he was on his Cobra CX50. There is about a month break in the racing action here in Oregon so we'll be looking for a race or two in Washington or California in the next few weeks.
