Personal History
My name is Bubba Barnes. I am 13 years old. I got my first bike in April 2024 which is a 2021 KTM 85. I grew up watching my dad race for years winning many of championships. I have always liked being at the track and getting to know all types of new people and watch everyone's different riding styles. In my spare time I like to play MX video games and ride my BMX bike around my track in my back yard.
Riding Goals
I have always wanted to follow in my dad's footsteps. Since April I have been at the track every weekend with my dad practicing. This year I will be running my local district AMA races. I want to keep putting the work to get faster and learn all I can on and off the bike. I want to keep being a great role model to the younger kids. I want to show them that with kindness and hard work and a love for riding you can go anywhere and do anything.
Competitive Highlights
In the few short 7 months I have been riding I have learned that the fear is all in my head. I have ran 3 local AMA racing this year in the 85 beginner class and took home a 3rd and two 1st. I have made a lot of new friends and have learned a lot from them. Now that I can jump more and have worked on my corner speed nothing can stop me.
