Personal History

I am currently a 16 year old sophomore student at Centennial High School. I have played both basketball and volleyball my freshman year for Centennial and have played football, baseball, and golf earlier in life. I have been riding ever since my Mom and Dad got me a dirtbike at the age of 8. Prior to this, I rode anything with a motor. My Grandpa races boats so it is just natural for me to be around the racing atmosphere. I had watched supercross/ motocross on TV and, well supercross, in the stadiums and had always been drawn to in. I was that kid always playing in the dirt with my toy motorcycles or making the noises. There was just a connection. When I got the dirtbike, I wasn't ever expecting to race because neither of my parents put me into them. When my parents split up, I did all my riding with my Dad. When I started to get bigger bikes, I wanted to race, but my Dad wouldn't let me. I was so determined to get racing, I decided to start it with my Mom. My racing Grandfather is on my Moms side of the family and it worked out perfectly. I started with small SMX races at Speedworld every couple weeks in 2011. This were my first ever races. I finished races around 4th in the 250-450cc Beginner class. I worked my way up to some wins. This wasn't enough racing to get me to where I want to go. I decided that last year, 2012, my Mom and I were going to do the AMX State Championship race series, the biggest series Arizona offers besides the AM Open. I did as many races as possible that year. I didn't make the first half of the series so I wasn't in the points chase. I worked my way up to getting holeshots and top three finishes in both 250cc Beginner and Open Beginner. This year, I believe is my year to shine. I am starting from the beginning and am doing the whole AMX race series (17 round series). I plan to get some more races under my belt in the beginner classes and plan to get the championship this year before moving up to Novice next year. I also want to go to the Loretta Lynn's Qualifier in February 2013, hoping to make it to the regional to get some more experience with faster racers. I am also doing the AM Open next year because I missed it this year due to a separated shoulder. I'm doing it with the help of my Mom and Grandpa and would love to have some sponsors to help me out with the upcoming race season.

Riding Goals

I just started racing, and love it already. I want to do as many races as possible in the coming year and also being able to accomodate my school schedule and playing other sports. I am planning to do the qualifier race in Buckeye Arizona in February 2012 for Loretta Lynns. I want to got there and do good so that I can improve my racing skills. I will continue after the holidays in January to race at Speedworld and at Canyon Raceway to build my endurance and confidence.  It has always been a goal of mine to race professionaly and I want to make it there! I am willing to sacrafice and do anything necessary to excel in this sport!

Competitive Highlights

I have only raced four motos in my career so far. In my first race, I finished 4th and in the second moto and in the second moto I crashed on a jump. I went sideways on the face of a jump and landed that way. I landed on my side and broke my ASV lever and my throttle tube. I was unable to finish because I couldn't get the bike started and my throttle tube & lever broke completely off!  I got a 9th overall. In my next race, I started 4th. 1 lap into the moto another competitor and I banged bars and we both went over the bars. When I finally got up, I didn't notice anything wrong so I pushed on through the moto. I finished 8th. The next moto I started 4th and I rode well to a 4th place finish. I got 6th place overall. I felt well throughout the races and I hope that I can eliminate my mistakes, ride hard & efficient so I will soon be finishing #1!
