Personal History
I did not start racing competitively until I was 13 years old when I started racing in the Oklahoma Cross Country Racing Association (OCCRA) on a 2003 Suzuki RM100 that my parents bought from a friend for me on my 13th birthday. I loved it, after my very first race I was HOOKED! At the end of the OCCRA season I was crowned the 2011 Long Course Mini Champion!! Racing in OCCRA got me to practicing on motocross tracks close to our house and that was fun too. Once again my parents went out and bought me another used bike from a friend of a friend since I was outgrowing my Suzuki and this time it was a 2006 Yamaha 250F so I would have something bigger to practice on. I played around some that summer and entered a few races while finishing up my OCCRA season and didn’t do to bad. That winter I signed up for my very first motocross series. The 2011/2012 Oklahoma 5 Star Winter Series in Blanchard Oklahoma. I entered the 250 beginner class, and I WON their series. Once again I was HOOKED. Motocross has become my new passion! Somewhere in the middle of all this my parents bought me a 2006 Yamaha 450F so I could get even more experience on a bigger bike. In February 2012 I signed up for the Oklahoma State Championship Series I registered both bikes and thought I would race the 250 beginner class as my main event and race 450 beginner for more seat time since I was still just learning the ins and outs of motocross At the end of the 2012 year I placed 5th overall in 250 beginner and tied for 1st in the 450 beginner class and was very surprised at the first place tie. Right now I have 1 race left in the 2012/2013 Oklahoma 5 Star Winter Series in Blanchard , Oklahoma. At the end of the last race I was in 1st place in 250 novice, 1st place in 450 novice and just 2 points behind in the schoolboy class, so the 2013 season for me had gotten off to a great start. With the recent purchase of a 2013 Suzuki RMZ250 the sky has no limits for me. The next step in my racing career is to go Pro and with your help I hope to reach this goal in my future.
