Personal History

I am 14 years old a freshman at Crowley County High School located in Eastern Colorado.I have been riding since I was 5, I have only raced for 2 years, but have done pretty well. I placed in the top 10 most of the local races. I currently race in the 250 novice class the open novice class and the 450 novice class. I also play football and am currently starting running back and linebacker on our varsity team. I also wrestle and have been competeing since I was 3 years old. I am an A, B student and am involved in FFA. I was born with a severe cleft lip and palate and have had to endure many surgeries through the years. My parents were told I would most likely be hindered with this birth defect and probably not be able to be envolved with sports as I have breathing issues do to the cleft and also have hearing lose in both ears. I have not let my birth defect get in my way and I would most definetly not let it prevent me from competing in sports. I continue to work hard and give everything I do a 110 %.

Well the 2014 race season  has started here in Colorado and I have moved up to the "B" class the first race I finished fifth in 450, sixth in open and eighth in 250! Had some really good starts and rode up front for a couple laps. The second race we had was cold and had a little snow but the track at Aztec was great and held up well finished in top ten in my classes also. The third race didn't go so well got taken out on a jump and had another bike land on me ended up with a slight concussion and a messed up helmet and bike. We will be back in a couple weeks for the Lakewood ,co Thunder valley race.

Riding Goals

I am very excited about the upcoming race season. I am hopeing to have a great season and finish in the top five in the classes I participate in.  I am currently working for my Grandpa at his motorcycle shop and learning alot about repairing my own bikes. I am eager to learn more so my dad does not have to do all the mechanic stuff for me. I am also working hard to improve my A, B average to an A average.

Competitive Highlights

Some of my cometicive highlights are Placing 1st in a local motocross, the first race my grandparents were able to attend. Placing 1st was great but seeing how happy and proud my grandparents were was the best. I also attended a race in Lakewood Colorado at which it rained for 2 days pryor and continued to rain on race day, the track was so muddy and slick it was crazy. Several of the Pro racers did not even race as it was so bad. I raced my class and finshed 12, which is not that great but man on man that was a fun race. So many crashes and sliding and mud soaked riders. It was great.
