Personal History
Always had a passion for quads/ dirtbikes. Loved watching people ride as a kid and always wanted one. I was rhat kid when I heard a bike I’d run out of my house to see it and get so excited when they rode by. I would watch videos and could only dream about doing half the things they were doing in the video. A few years back I finally saved up for a bike and its just as much fun as I imagined it to be. Go out riding as much as can. Made some new friends in the process. Cant think of a better thing to do on my days off.
Riding Goals
At the very least i hope to be able to go bar to bar and go back and forth on the track with my buddy. He's high local B class, pretty fast in my eyes. Obviously I would love to be even better but at the very least be able to do that. When the time comes that ive caught up to him speed and skill wise to battle him, I’ll be happy. By that time he’ll probably be local A, and we’ll just keep improving and getting faster, doing cooler stuff on the bikes. Would also like to get into racing more just for fun. Ive done a few off-road races and had a blast. I think it would help test myself, be a learning experience, and lead to really fun weekends.
Competitive Highlights
The last race I did, I was so anxious and excited to ride that i didnt shut my bike off from the time i started it to warm it up until it started overheating. I thought my day was over. Luckily someone was nice enough to run back to his truck and grab me some water to put in the radiators. I was the 3rd line to go and there was about 10-15 lines in c class that day. I didnt get going until right b4 the let the final line go. Was able to charge through make up enough ground and time to catch up to my 250c (my class within C class) and start gaining positions. There was about 150 people in c class in total and about 30-35 in 250c. At the end of the race I came out roughly 25th-27th. For my situation I was happy with it. Felt good that day, rode good, stayed smooth kept my mistakes down, felt like i was riding my own race.
