Personal History
My name is Bruce Hale and I am a firefighter for the Orange County Fire Authoroty. I work in the city of Irvine. I live in Phelan CA just outside of Wrightwood in the west cajon valley off of the 138. I live on 5 acres and have a track an about 4 acres. It has step ups, table tops, an 80 foot triple and a large uphill. I try to ride at least 2 times a week at my house and local tracks. ( Comp Edge, Racetown, Perris Raceway, Starwest, Glen Helen). I was just recently injured for the first time while riding. I am now back on the bike and cant wait to get on my new 2008 Honda 450. I race with the Firepolicemx.com nationals. I also ride with alot of firefighters and police officers out in the desert.
Riding Goals
My goal for 2008 is to compete in all of the Firepolicemx.com national series. ( 8 Rounds Nationals, 3 Rounds Summer series at Perris Raceway, and Christmas Grand Pre) I also plan on racing in some distrct 37 big 6 races. And my personal goal is to get faster and train harder since i was off the bike for 3 months.
Also non MX goal is to compete in the 2008 Palm Springs softball tourn. and the 2008 4 Alarm regional softball tourn in Las Vagas in which teams from all over the US compete
Competitive Highlights
I started racing the firepolicemx.com night series races in 1997. I took first place overall (Beginer) in the Cops night racing series held at Compition Park in San Jucento. I then raced in the transcal sereis in 1998 and took 4th overall in the beg class. I did all the rounds and went up to norhtern CA for the North South Shootout.
