Personal History
I am a Firefighter/Paramedic in the Akron, Ohio area. I spend most of my summer supporting the racing efforts of my son.
I race occasionally in Regional Fire/Police motocross events in Ohio and Indiana. It is anticipated that this year the East Coast Fire Police MX series will expand to the great state of Delaware.
I have 3 children, ages 20, 11 and 10. I have been married for 14 years.
One of the greatest things that I have seen with the MX community on a local level is how helpful everyone is. I have been impressed with the passion that MX riders and fans have for their sport.
I believe that my character and ethics would make me a great candidate for sponsorsip. Having a public job makes me very aware of how important image can be.
I am very competative, however, and I have definately learned that it is much more fun to play and win than to play and lose.
Riding Goals
My primary goal is to win the East Coast Fire/Police MX series in my class for 2009. I am dedicated to competing in all of the scheduled events this year.
I also must support the racing efforts of my son.
I may also compete locally at Competition Riders of America (CRA) sanctioned tracks in the 40+ Novice class. It will help me develop my skills and endurance.
Competitive Highlights
My ONLY real racing highlight to date is finishing 2nd in class in the East Coast Fire/Police MX series.
