Personal History

My name is Brody Thompson and I am nine years old. I raced a KTM 50 in the Pee Wee Sr class here in the Midwest and was series champion for 2011. I started riding when I was three and I started racing at the age of five. My dad also races to in the Vet classes and he is really who I look up to. I have done well in many of our local races this year and moved up to KX 65's with first, second, and third place finishes. I have recently moved to KX 85's a little earlier then expected. I have an 09 practice bike that my Dad is making into a supermini and I have a new 2013 that is set up for stock classes. So far I have raced it at five races in the 85cc Jr class and have had decent finishes in 4th, 5th and 6th place. I am getting faster everyday and the older guys in that class are really starting to notice because I haven't let them get away from me. 2013 should be a really good year for me because I should be able to fully touch the ground on both my bikes. I race in quite a few states including Iowa, Nebraska, Missouri, South Dakota, Kansas, and my dad is planning on racing in Minnesota and Colorado next year. I love school and I do the best that I can to get good grades. Gotta have them grades to race. I am also into BMX with my Haro, I am also into wakeboarding also in the summer. I love our sport and I am very thankful to be able to be a part of it.

Riding Goals

I plan on doing the best that I can and getting better in my corners. The transition to the KX 85's is awesome and my goals are to compete in some of the local races in our surrounding states. I am also planning on racing some national events in the 85 stock class that are close to us, and train hard to make it to Lorettas in a few years.
