Personal History

Hi!  My name is Brockington Conley.  My family and friends call me Broc.  I am 6 years old turning 7 in June.  I was born in Louisiana and was adopted by my mom and dad.  They brought me to Pennsylvania where I currently live in Carlisle.  I live with my mom and dad along with my sister, Raelynn.   I also have an extended family in Texas where my birth parents and 3 sisters are.  I love being outdoors.  You can always find me riding on my scooter, skateboard, or bike and trying new tricks with my ramp.   If not on something that moves I am playing basketball or football.  I also enjoy a good game of Uno!  I love school!  This year has been a little different wearing a mask everyday but I still get to learn with friends.  My favorite subject is Math and my least favorite is English and writing.

my family is my fan club!  My mom, dad and sister support and cheer for me at every race!  They tell me win or lose just have fun!  My Uncle is pretty cool too!  His name is Jeff Yentzer and was a pro rider at one time.  He is an awesome coach!  He teaches me what I need to do to ride with control and to ride safe.  My pappy and Aunt B and cousins are always with us too!  I have a huge fan club!  I recently gained a guardian Angel, my GG passed in Feb due to covid.  I know she will always be watching me at every track!!

Riding Goals

I want to continue to get better finishes.  I would like to get on podium.  My goal this year is to go to Mini O’s.  If I continue to show improvement it will help me build confidence in myself.  I want to have my first overall win.  I believe that with hard work, practicing, and listening to my coach I can achieve those goals.  It may not be this year, but it will happen.  My family lives by a motto of “baby steps”. We don’t take leaps,  we take small improvement steps each day.

Competitive Highlights

With only racing one year I don’t have many competitive highlights.  I always go up to the line with 4 thru 8 year olds.  I understand that some are better than I am.  I also understand that i will be just as fast.  I can remember last year I was fighting for points in the 50 shaft oil class.  There were 3 riders and we were all battling down to the last race.  I received third place and I couldn’t be happier.  This year has started off a little rocky, but I am determined to improve at each race.  My heart is in this sport,  I have the best spirit and the best support system behind me!
