Personal History

First dirt bike I was ever on was a Honda 50cc at the age of 7, next was a Honda 110cc at the age of 13 that I shared with my brother.  I didn't fully get into racing motocross untill I was 16 when a friend invited me to watch them race.  I watched 2 races and I was hooked.  The next week I went out with all my savings and bought a 4 year old KX250F.  My first real bike, I couldn't touch the ground but I knew it was go big or go home.  I like to push myself so I figured getting out on a 250 to start was a good challange.  I was working part time as a tech at a Volkswagon dealership. The very next pay check went fully to equipment.

My first time on the bike was in my first race starting off right at the bottom in Ladies B at the local motocross track.  I was far from placing any where to the top for a while but the placing didn't matter to me, I was having so much fun knowing I am doing something for my self that I never had the money to do before. By midway through my second season of racing I was first and moved up into Ladies A where I stayed for the next 2 seasons.  I got bored from the Ladies class pretty soon, so I decided to challenge myself and move into Novice B also nicknamed the carnage class cause that is exactly what it was.  I gave my self a challenge alright and made me such a better rider, it gave me someone to chase, learn how to hold lines and riding sytles. I have since moved up into Novice A.

I do all my own work on my bikes and I think that makes riding even more rewarding knowing that I rebuilt the bike I am riding on season after season.

Mechanics is a hobbie and my Job.  I am currently employed as a lead licensed aircraft mechanic in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
