Personal History
I’ve been racing dirt bikes for 4 years now. I am very competitive and confident about racing and riding! I love the sport and I’m blessed I’m able to do it! I am 15 years old, turning 16 in October of this year, and I am a sophmore at Pleasantville High School in Pleasantville, IA. I started out riding my friends pit bikes and farm bikes and thought it was really fun, at the age of 10 I bought my first dirtbike. A crf150rb. I rode that in the 85cc hare scrambles in the local IERA series events. I am now riding a 2019 ktm250xc. I absolutely love it. In the future I look into getting 2 identical ktms, one for enduro and one for hare scrambles. I’m excited to see what comes up in the future!
Riding Goals
My goals in the future are to advance a class every year if all goes right. My goal is to be a AA rider by the age of 18. Another goal is to win a couple b class races this year in enduros and hare scrambles. Our hare scramble b class is stacked with a lot of fast riders! I also would like to my more consistent on finishes in the top 5 or so.
Competitive Highlights
In the 85cc class I placed 2nd multiple times but was never able to snag the win. I’ve gotten so much faster on my new ktm and I was able to take a win and overall in the open C class race at Border Battle XC race in Illinois. I’m now racing b and I am putting in a lot of work to get a b class win! My best finishes on my ktm were 2nd and 3rd place overall, both enduros in the IERA series here locally in Iowa.
