Personal History
I am Racin' Mason. I've been drag racing snowmobiles since I was 2.5 years old. I have 2 Polaris 120's and an Articat 200. One has been custom fitted with a clone 21horse motor (tops out at 55mph and still isn't fast enough for me). You can find me at Jerry Rice Drag race every chance I get. I started racing around my parents yard on a 50cc Polaris outlaw at the mere age of 3. By my 4th birthday I had a PW50 and took over my brothers outlaw 110. I crave speed and adrenaline and finally convinced my parents to let me race, so dad went and got me my first KTM. . My parents own an excavating company, so I convinced dad to build me a track in the middle of our orchard where you can find me everyday after school. All my kindergarten buddies call me trophy Mason. Now that I am in First Grade they think I'm tiktok famous because mom makes some sweet videos of my skills. I can't let that name down, so I practice every chance I get.
Riding Goals
2025 Riding Goals are to advance my skills by continuing to seek classes. I also plan to travel and find faster riders and to challenge myself more. The biggest goal I have for 2025 is to make it back to Loretta’s! I know this year will pose more challenges and I plan to practice every chance I have in preparation.
Competitive Highlights
-8th place overall at Loretta’s my first year! My parents couldn’t be more proud. There were many challenges and now that I know what to expect, i will be practicing and challenging myself so that i can make it back and do better next year.
-I GOT MY TICKET TO THE RANCH! What an emotional Journey and I can't wait to make my dreams come true!
-Headed for another class with MXFactory 3/26. I can't wait to refresh my skill set on the bike and prep for that next qualifier. I will make it to Loretta's!
-Budds Creek Mx LLAQ was a huge challenge as I struggled with mechanical issues on the pw as well as getting stuck in a huge rut. I gave everything I could to get that ticket punched and ended with an 8th place. I am proud that I can advance but am also dissappointed. Mom and Dad plan to take me to more qualifiers to improve and prep for LLRQ.
-Budds Creek MX LLAQ in the micro limited class with my KTM Junior, I had the throttle pegged off the gate and Flipped, Broke the Rear Fender. Went from dead last in the 1'st moto to a 5th place finish. In the second moto, I almost did the same thing but managed to get the bike under control and finished 4th with a 4th overall. 3 Cobras finished in front of me and I had the KTM pegged the whole race. We plan to get the bike dialed in for the next qualifier and hopefully I can catch the cobras!
-Route62mx 23/24 Winter Series Champion in begginner 50 (4-6) and 2nd place shaft (4-6).
-Mom and Dad let me miss school to go to the Compound Mx Facility for a class with The MXFactory. Learning from Tyler Livesay was a dream come true. I was so shy but really absorbed the information and techniques he provided us during class. I have since applied those techniques and practice them several times a week. I really hope Tyler does another class that I can join.
-I finished WNYMA with a 2nd Place overall in the 50cc Shaft Class and a 4th Place overall in the 50cc PeeWee Jr Class. Mom and Dad are so proud for my first year. I think that I could have done better if I didnt have to miss races becuse of a broken finger.
-November 18th we traveled to Ohio for the beginning of Route62mx Winter Series. There were almost 500 enteries of mini bikes. I made it through without having to go to consi's. During practice friday night my pw50 seized up and I had to ride a 100% stock back up bike for race day. I rode my tail off and made it 3rd with a 100% stock bike. Mom and Dad are so proud of me, however I was disappointed because I knew I could have done better. Dad bought me a new pw50 and is building it back before the next Ohio race. I cant wait to go back!
