Personal History
I am currently 39 years old. I have been riding/racing since I was 9 years old. I am a Project Coordinator for Ford Motor Company. I have worked there for 10 years. I have a wondeful wife of 3 years and have a 16 year old step daughter.
Riding Goals
I will be turning 40 years old in January and my plans are to race full time in the 2009 Grand National Cross-Country Championship. I will compete in the Senior A class. I have been working with a personal trainer for over a year now and have never felt better on the bike.
Competitive Highlights
I raced dirt as a young kid and into my teens. When I finished high school I knew that I needed to buckle down in college and motorcycles had to take a back seat. When I was finished with school I had decided to give roadracing a shot. I raced superbike and 600 supersport from my early 20's till I was 30. At 30 I decided to get back to dirt. My first year back I dominated the C class and moved to B the following year. I was on a tear till the middle of the year when an injury sidelined me for 6 months. The next year I went out and dominated the B class the entire year. I moved up to the A class 5 years ago and have had good results. Some years better than others. I have trained hard this year and have worked thru some injuries.
I had some injuries that were nagging at me year after year and this year was a healing year. I am healed up and my personal trainer is pushing me hard. I will be ready to rock and roll for 2009!
