I have made it through the first step of the LL qualifiers placing 2nd in both Vet 30+ B/C and Vet 35+. Golden Pine MX of Prentiss, MS has a great track and facility. It's a very fast, natural track with deep loamy sand/soil mix. This was one of the best tracks that I have been at in awhile.
The track broke down very fast making some rough whooped out track sections difficult for most riders. The whoop section in the track was a cross between desert and sand whoops. I have to say I love it when a track becomes really rough, that seems to be where I shine the most.
Racing was great all weekend long with lot's of hard battles fought.

It's been a long 4 years, but I'm back on the bike and running faster then when I left. I guess the time off, and the fight from my injury has been my inspiration for my speed I have now. My last race was a regional qualifier in Texas for Loretta's which was dissapointing since I missed qualifying in the +25b class by 2 spots. I didn't have much of a chance in the 125b class, since engine problems ended my weekend in the 2nd moto. Shortly after I fractured my L1 and T12 vertebrae. Angels watched over me as I didn't require surgery, but it's been a long 3 years of getting back to 100%. With the encouragement of my wife and interest of my 3 year old son, I have began riding and racing again. There's no better feeling than coming back stronger then ever after being away from the sport so long!
