Personal History
Hey whats up! My name is Brian Melzer, im 16, I live in Carlsbad, CA and I race 125/250F beginner. I am currently racing the last three races of my very first series, the MX Hot Winter Series at Lake Elsinore MX. I have done one race and am in 20th out of 25 in the 250F beginner class. I just finished my second race and am waiting to see where I sit in the points chase and will post the results asap.
Racing takes up about 95% of my life, and I wouldnt have it any other way. I care desperatley about what I do and give it 110% effort everytime I swing a leg over my CRF250R. My family and I are on a pretty tight budget for racing, but we all work our butts off everyday to make our racing dreams a reality. I have 100% support from all of my family and friends, and I try hard in school so my parents will let me ride more. I hope to be in the novice class by 2008, and I will do everything I can to accomplish that. I want it bad enough and I know i will get it.
Outside of the racing world, I love to hang out with my family and friends, I love girls, I love to go off roading, I love taking my little brothers DRZ125 out to playride, and I love just relaxing. To support my racing, I work as a waiter at La Costa Glen Retirement Community. On top of that Im a junior at La Costa Canyon High. My average weekly schedule is- Mondays: catch up on school work and relax. Tuesday: ride Wednesday: work. Thursday: ride. Friday: work. Saturday: race and work. Sunday: relax and catch up on school work. So as you can see, im a pretty busy kid. I love my life and wouldnt trade any of it for the world! If I were to change one thing, it would be to get sponsors for the sport I have dedicated my heart to! Thanks for reading and feel free to talk to me if you want! See you at the track!
