Rider Updates

Nov 6 2021

2021 was a good and bad season. I was back hitting the qualifiers and having fun getting back into my old form and getting my confidence back when injury struck again. Made a big mistake and way over jumped a rhythm section and landed in the face of the next jump and popped my Achilles’ tendon. Thankful that was all but that ended my bid for Lorettas and summer quickly. Had surgery the next week and have been waiting anxiously to get back to riding and eventually racing. May try and hit a few of the Hoosier arenacross events this winter if I can get my leg back to where it needs to be.  Definitely looking forward to next spring and getting back into racing.

Getting excited for the 2020 season.  Have been trying to keep active with riding this fall and winter between coaching youth sports.  Had a minor procedure done that has me out for about four weeks and then am anxious to hit the training hard with riding and working out.  Had a few set backs the last two seasons with motor issues to start the season.  Last year started with a hydro locked motor and bent crank.  This year after rebuilding the motor top to bottom and not that many rides something let go in the motor and threw the rod trashing the motor.  Thankfully, I've been blessed with a new 2019 YZ 250f to go racing on this season.

Looking forward to hitting a few Loretta's qualifiers and building my speed back up and trying to qualify for the Ranch.

Will probably try and attend Boom Diggity again this year and improve my riding.

Big thanks to Motosport for helping me out over the years.  Spy for some awesome goggles.  Ogio for providing a great gear bag, Atlas for the support so I can stay safe.  Lucas Oil for providing quality oils to keep my machine lubricated and healthy.  And Decal Works for helping me always look fast.

Greetings-

Had an awesome time at the MotoPlayground National at Ponca and finished with a top 10 in +30, was pretty pumped on that.

Since then, have been riding and training with a friend, putting in a lot of corner work and riding style/technique focus.  Have been getting some quality seat time and looking forward to the spring race season and the start of the Loretta's qualifiers.

Hope everyone is having a Merry Christmas.  Here's to a great 2017!

Special thanks to my sponsors for the support, it really is appreciated.

Ogio, Spy, Motosport, DecalWorks, Lucas Oil, Pro Taper, Atlas Brace,1.7 Cleaning Solutions.  Thank you all.

Well, I have some unfortunate news. I had a crash at Lincoln Trail in Casey, Illinois at the Lorettas qualifier during Friday practice on April 1st. I had a check up last week and you can still see the fracture in my right lower fibula, just not healing very fast. Also, I have a fracture in my c6 on the right side so the doctors advised no racing this summer. Pretty bummed to not get to be racing and trying for Lorettas. Trying to stay positive and be thankful it wasn't worse. Thank you to my sponsors that I picked up this year. Spy, Motosport, Decal Works, Ogio, Atlas, & 1.7 Cleaning Solutions.
