The summer break is over and we are prepping for the race season. We are going to the Endurocross track this weekend to put in some work. We have the Outlaw Enduro on October 22nd and the Overthrowers Enduro on November 4th, so we are going to be busy.

We went out to the first Enduro since June in 105 degrees it was the hottest race I've ever done. My wife won her class and I missed the overall by 10 seconds. I rode good and had a great time because the course was extra technical. The Expert special test at the end of the race was really hard and everyone from the pits could watch us. The first hill was huge when I got there bikes were skattered so I picked a line and somehow made it to the top. I had a great run through the test and zeroed it. I felt so good at the finish I went back out and rode the special again for practice and to help the stuck riders finish. All in all a good weekend in the desert.

Just prepped the bikes and after a little summer break I am starting to get ready for the rest of the 2014 season. I will probably get on the bike over Labor Day weekend and ride some singletrack in the Piutes. I have some friends putting on a Trials event up there so maybe I will bring my trials bike and give it a try.
