Personal History
I am highly motivated and up beat. I Like to stay positive in all cases. I played competitive sports my whole life and have enormous passion for Motocross. I went to Pennsylvania College of Technology for heavy equipment technology acheiving my Assiciates degree.
I started riding dirt bikes when I was 14, after buying a 1982 RM 125 from my buddy's dad, under my own dollar. The bike was in rough shape when I bought it and needed a restoration from top to bottom. I saved every penny and gave it a full resto to get out riding with my friends. I rode that for about two years then sold it to help pay for my '96 CR250, that was down at the local powersports shop. This bike was my dream bike, at the time and had many nights lying in bed awake, thinking of how I could get the money together to buy it. After saving all my lunch money and working long hours after school I manged to scrape up enough money to snag it. I Rode it for about three years at the track me and my buds made out of an old abandoned jobsite. The track was sweet, we transformed all the piles of dirt into tabletops, ski jumps, doulbles and a couples whoop sections making a nice layout. We spent many hours there after school and on the weekends but I never got the opportunity to race in a formal fashion back then. I was the first in my family to take up the sport of motocross, so the opportunity to travel around to the local races was never there.
Now that I am out on my own I have decided to step it up and race a formal district (34). It is my primary hobby away from work and have molded my life around it. I spend five days a week training in the gym and take my weekends to the track to race and/or practice. Currently I am doing Coach Seji's 19 week training program on Racerx Virtual Trainer which has been great. I enjoy training because it keeps me busy after work and most importantly it will get me to that next level on race day.
Riding Goals
In the coming year I would like to master the +25B and +30B classes and move to A. My goal is to become a top three rider in both classes. I would like to acquire some sponsorships to help support my racing budget and keep me at the races. The opportunity represent the industry and companies through sponsorship makes it that much better!
As far as life goes, in this next year I am looking to find some real estate to purchase and maybe get some land with it. I would like to make a personal track in the yard to get that much needed seat time in during the week. Another goal for the year to come is to work towards becoming one of the top territory managers at work.
Competitive Highlights
While playing hockey and lacrosse as a kid I have won many championships. I played on numerous elite travel teams competing against the best in the surrounding areas. I know what winning is and love to win. If I were introduced to MX in my childhood days I believe that I would have been a top amatuer racer and possibly went pro. I love the competitive aspects behind MX and what it takes to get there. I don't accept anything less than being the best and will never give up trying. I have always been highly competitive but also know how to accept a loss and respect the opponent. When I lose I want to learn from it and go back and win.
