This was a great weekend for me!
Saturday: Pracitce was great! the track was very well groomed and the dirt was perfect. The rain came in after practice and completely soaked everything. Race 1 was rough for me. I got a bad start and battled my way up to third, but then I slid out into a 6" deep mud puddle. After digging my bike out of the mud I was back around 10th somewhere. I managed to battle back up to 7th place. Race 2 was still very slick, but I kept the bike on 2 wheels and finished 5th. I placed 6th overall for the day.
Sunday: This day was a great day for me! Even though the track was pretty much flooded over night, practice went well. The track was a little bit stickier than the day before. I snagged the holeshot in race 1 and finished in 2nd place. Race 2 went just as good! I was 2nd out of the first turn only to get passed in the 2nd turn. Then on the 2nd lap, our leader stalled and got passed by about half of the pack befoe he could get staarted again. This put me into 2nd place, where I finished this race in. I got 2nd place overall for the day!

This weekend is the upcoming AMX series races 3 & 4 at Speedworld mx park in Arizona. I will be going and racing the Beginner open class on both days. These are my first races since breaking my arm last year. I have decided to step down a class this year and re-start my racing career over. My shattered wrist has set me back, but I am determine to get back up to when I was within the next 6 months.
