Personal History
I was born and raised in Orange County, CA and grew up in a family with a long history of off-road motorcycle racing. I grew up watching my dad compete and have been pretty much addicted ever since. I went through the ranks in the AMA District 37 Desert/Enduro/GP series and have now been competing at the Expert level for many years. Outside of racing, I earned a bachelors degree from Cal State Long Beach and now work as an Account Director in the telecommunications industry. I live in Yorba Linda, CA with my wife, Charity and son, James. I also do some writing and contribute to www.dirtbiketest.com, most recently I wrote a few different stories about my teams experience at the 24 Hours of Glen Helen where we did a full test on a 2017 Beta 430 RR-S and wound up winning the Senior class in the process.
Riding Goals
My racing goals are always the same. I want to give everything I have, at every race. Regardless of where I finish, if I feel like I did the best I could, it was probably a good ride. My main focus has been the Senior Lightweight Expert class at the AMA District 37 Big 6 GP series and for the last couple years I've held the #2 plate. 2016 has been a great year, and with one round to go, I'm leading the points. Hopefully, in 2017, I'll be putting the #1 on my bike.
