Personal History
It may not be a market that is focused on, but at the core of RC racing and in most people’s pits are Ogio bags. They’re perfect for the hobby and allow racers to transport all of their items at once. I started racing RC cars when I was 12, I am currently 26 and don’t plan on ever stopping! I currently race 2 cars but will begin to race 3 different classes next year. I am currently sponsored by Team Associated, Reedy, JConcepts, TPMSbargains.com, ActivRC and Miller Time Designz. I have a mechanical engineering degree and background and that is what has led me down the path of building and racing RC cars competitively.
Riding Goals
This current year was my first year racing nationally and it has gone really well! Because of this recent success, I am looking forward to pushing myself more next year, competing at more national level events, and hopefully are able to come out on top at some nationally acclaimed events. Although I have only won one round of the national series, I have podiumed all of the other rounds so headed into the last race (my home track in Arizona) I’m the points leader! I want to continue to grow as a racer in 2023 and to do so my luggage and being able to transport everything to and from races is crucial for me! I currently use my Ogio 9800 red/black/grey because it matches my color scheme almost perfectly!
Competitive Highlights
I have some other highlights from my previous years of racing, last year I was living in California and they have a traveling series up and down the coast. At this series, I’ve been able to win 3 overall championships and although California has some of the toughest competition of all states, I only wanted to include the recent national level events since I feel that is a better representation of how I will generally seed overall when racing with the best of the best from everywhere.
If and when I’m able to put it all together for the last round of the traveling series, this will be my biggest win and resume-booster to date!
