Personal History
My name is Brayden Nolette, I am a cool, likeable 7 year old. I got my first dirt bike January 2011, and rode my first race in April after finishing Pee Wee racing school. Pee Wee school was awesome and I was taught by Jim Senecal. I got 7th place in my first race out of 14 kids and have worked my way up to second place in 7 races. I am hooked. I eat, breath and sleep dirt bikes and racing. All i want to do is race but my parents keep me grounded with school sports and archery with my Dad. My Dad had ridden dirt bikes since he was young and competes in the C Senior class harescrambles too. Now that I am so hooked on riding my younger brother Cameron has started riding too. He has a 50CC Honda and someday we will be Team Nolette Racing. Racing is a family event for us and we share this with friends and plan to do this for a long time to come.
I have written letters with my Mom to protect my right to ride. Living in MA it is a scary topic at my age, but we do everything with the right gear and follow rules so I will do everything to make sure we can do this for a long time.
Riding Goals
I want to take 1st place in the Pee Wee 5 division.
I cannot wait to get a 65CC bike.
Competitive Highlights
Placing higher than some of the kids that are on their second year racing in my first few races was awesome. Parents telling me I am a natural feels so cool. Getting Second Place in Union CT was awesome.
Winning the trophy at Stateline for Bravest Pee Rider was cool. I crashed bad and they wanted to take me in an ambulance. I bent the forks on my bike, bent the handle bars and twisted the sub frame in the back after the bike flipped end over end 4 times in a field, i flew off and got back up. I saw Chad Reed do that on tv and that is how I want to be. They put my bike up on the trophy stage and no one could believe I was Ok. All i wanted to do was ride.
