Personal History
My name is Braxton Ryder McKenyon. My dad bought me my first dirt bike when I was 6 months old. I started riding at 2 years old (with training wheels) and 3 years old without training wheels. I live in a small town in Western New York where I started riding. Riding with my dad from the time I was very little has been my favorite thing to do and has been my passion, basically my whole life. I competed in my first race on my first bike, a Yamaha PW50, when I was 4 years old. I started racing more often, visiting multiple districts and states, when I was 6 years old on a Cobra 50cc SR. I met a lot of new friends and loved the excitement of racing. Since then, I have moved up a class on my 2021 Yamaha YZ 65cc. I currently race in the 65cc 7-9 and JR Mini 7-12 classes. I have also done multiple races in the JR Mini Class on an 85cc. I love to race new tracks. Me and my family have traveled to West Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Ohio throughout the last couple of years to visit new tracks, both outdoor and indoor. Some of my most favorite racing experiences were racing at Unadilla MX and indoor Supercross. I also love woods riding for fun with my dad and mom. I have worked hard the last couple of years gaining new skill and endurance to gain success in racing all while having the time of my life!
Riding Goals
My biggest goal as a kid is to make it to Loretta Lynn's. When I am older I want to be a Pro Rider.
